Operational Readiness Support
Hendrix Medical successfully upgraded a surgical suite through the installation of three ceiling-mounted surgical mounts, new Amico lights, monitor arms with integrated cameras, and a Hammerhead Anesthesia Boom. All supporting infrastructure: including risers, medical gas lines, and electrical circuits, was updated to support the enhanced OR environment.
How a Complete Surgical Mount and Lighting Upgrade Improves OR Safety and Workflow
Operating room environments demand precision at every level, from surgical lighting to the positioning of anesthesia and monitoring equipment. This project addressed a facility's need to modernize its surgical infrastructure by installing three purpose-built surgical mounts designed to improve equipment reach, reduce clutter, and support consistent procedural setups.
The integration of Amico lights and camera-equipped monitor arms elevated both visibility and documentation capability within the sterile field. The Hammerhead Anesthesia Boom provided a dedicated, articulating platform for anesthesia equipment that improved access and reduced workflow congestion during high-acuity cases. All associated risers, medical gas connections, and electrical lines were updated concurrently to ensure full compatibility and code compliance.
Our team approached this project with an operations-first mindset, coordinating installation phases to minimize room downtime and ensuring each system was verified before the space returned to clinical use. The result is a safer, better-equipped operating room ready to support the demands of modern surgical care.
Equipment Installation
